Did some corrections to some of the lyrics thanks to KULPDOGG's analness.

In VC news, she performed a new song at the recent NYC concert called "San Francisco". And she mentioned that the lead single from the new album will be called "Private Radio" and will be sent to radio in January. Which means we're looking at a March/April release date for the album.

I added LYRICS to "Dark Carnival" (remake of "Carnival") which will be on Spy Hunter 2 this fall and also added lyrics to "Interlude" which is the original version of ATM. Previously I had just linked to the ATM lyrics but there are a couple differences so the real lyrics are now up.

I just got LOTS of clippings from Amy (formerly of Vanessafan.com). Check them out in the PICTURES SECTION. A few you may have seen floating around the web already, but I re-scanned all those on the page. Again, huge thanks to Amy!

Among the clippings was the Candies Ad.

Thanks to the Way Back Machine, I got a hold of an old bio hand written by Vanessa. It was written somewhere around the later part of 2000. It's def worth a read if you like a bit of history. (Thanks to Will for the heads up)

Lyrics are now available for "Ameriteen", a song she debuted at Oneonta, NY on April 26th. Also added full lyrics to "Wishin' + Hopin'" which is on the American Dreams soundtrack.

And am I the only one that finds this incredibly sexy?

Vanessa will be making a promotional appearance tomorrow in Seattle to promote the shoes she designed for Candies. To go along with the appearance, she did a short radio interview today talking about the shoes and about her next album.

In a recent interview Vanessa said her next album will be out in November. But seeing how this is still very very early, most albums get pushed pretty far back from initial release dates. If she says November, I would say we should be getting VC2 around the first week of January. (Just a guess, but a realistic one.)

Also next week (May 6th) the American Dreams Season One Soundtrack comes out on CD. Included will be the full version of Vanessa's cover of "Wishin' + Hopin'". Good stuff!

EDITORIAL: Not a whole lot in the way of news right now. Vanessa lost all 3 Grammy nominations. She's quite sick with bronchitis and strep throat but as she recovers, it's giving her more time to work on the songs for her second album. She will be returning to the studio very soon to record the new tracks. And until then, here is a new scan from US Weekly taken post-Grammys. Big thanks to Lisa & Jason for this one.
